Species Account:
The doe was on the side of the road. A friend of ours told us he had seen it just after it had been hit earlier this morning. We drove up and found it and called the Ketchum Police department who told us to report it on Fish and Game website. It was a browny gray, no antlers, huge floppy ears. Milk came out of the animal when we cut into it. It looked like it had been a healthy doe and had a good amount of fat on it.
