Species Account:
This was a buck fawn. Antlers about 1 inch in height. He was injured at the corner of Hwy 34 and Hooper Road in Soda Springs Idaho. The animal appeared to have been hit by a vehicle. He was crawling with his front legs. We called Caribou County Sherriff and Officer Broderick responded and put down the animal. He contacted Fish and Game and we were given permission to salvage the deer. We stopped at the Inkom check point and reported the deer as well.
