Species Account:
Contacted local Sheriffs office when we noticed the animal was not there in earlier passing. They notified us that it had been recently hit, and confirmed dead and asked if we would like to salvage it. We said yes and picked it up. The animal is a doe mule deer, large in size. The deer looks to be hit in the head due to substantial amount of blood coming from mouth and an injury to head.
