Species Account:
Animal was dead upon my arrival at the scene, but I was told by a man waiting for a tow truck it had been hit about an hour prior. It has a broad tail with white underside and no black tip. Reddish tan coat. It had a compound fracture of a rear leg, and had lost some of its viscera near the anus. She appeared to be still lactating to feed a fawn. There was a dead fawn under the east bound guard rail about 2/10 mile east of this doe, but I am unsure of when it was killed.
