Species Account:
3 yr. male whitetail buck, struck on right side, breaking both lower legs & most ribs w/stomach damage all on lower right side. Unknown vehicle hit & killed little buck maybe around 4:30 to 5:00 am. I was traveling North on US 95 from Wyoming Ave. @ 05:15 am. buck was still warm. I was driving my 1995 white Ford F150 North. I past the deer and thought I should see how fresh it was, so I turned on Lancaster and back to Wyoming on Government way and back to the deer on US95 put him in my truck. Deer was still warm, he was lying on his belly, so I think meat is ok, hope he tastes good. Photo is from my cell, I waited for sunrise and field dressed him off Hayden creek rd., took photo around 7am.
