Species Account:
Light brown and black small baby . I was on highway 21 at mile marker 21 when the baby cow elk jumped in front of me as I was locking my brakes trying to stop. I hit her in the back end and broke both legs. She went to the side of the road bedded down and died. I filed a police report with Boise county sheriffs office . Reporting deputy was Wes Crawford event # 58177. Accident happened around 10:20 pm Nov. 1.
