I would like to salvage this animal and agree to the terms of salvage:
Horns head and cape. The meat was already starting to rot and had some gangreen.
I'm absolutely certain
grey average size mule deer buck. Driving to work and saw the buck still alive laying 20 yards off the road in the morning. I took a picture of it and when I came back through 5 or 6 hours later he hadn't moved so i got out to see if it was alright. I could tell it had been hit by a car. It's back end was all broke up. So I called Nathan the fish and game officer in Franklin county that I know and he went by a few hours later to check it out and had to put the deer down. I had told him if it was possible I would like to salvage what I could so he responded and said I could salvage what I could. He didn't know if the meat would still be good.
