Vehicle in front of me struck deer. Lewiston Police was at intersection below, he was there quick. I asked officer if I could have the deer, he said sure. Idaho State Patrol placed kill shot or slammed its head on pavement killing it as it wasn't quite dead. Lewiston Police Department case number 17-L7334. I tooked mule deer home and processed the meat.
