Species Account:
The animal's color was a light tan/grey, she was roughly 100lbs. The doe caught her back legs on a coworkers fence, which punctured her groin area. She hung there until she died of what appears to be asphyxiation. Coworker stated that he went to bed around 10:30p.m. and hadn't noticed anything, when he woke up this morning he say the deer hanging but she had already passed. Before collecting the animal I spoke with a representative from the wildlife department of fish and game, to confirm it was legal to salvage the animal. I believe his name was Brian, however I did not get his last name. He informed me that all I needed to do was go online and fill out the salvage report and take some photos for authenticity. I have provided addition photos for reference in PDF attached.
