Species Account:
The deer was more shaggy and darker as it started getting her fall coat. She wasn't a big doe, probably a baby from last season. She darted out in front of the truck and then stood there, we didn't have time to even honk. We hit her and she flew off the road. We turned around to see if it was still alive. She wasn't and her legs were completely crumpled beneath her and bones were sticking out. I called fish and game to report it but it was at midnight, we were headed home from a friend's house. I left a message saying we grabbed the deer and I left my number. Now I'm filling this out because I want to make sure I do the proper procedure.
