Species Account:
Young Buck. Antlers have fallen and bloody nubs present. Animal small in size apprx 95lbs. Appears to have been hit by vehicle. Exterior wounds to the head and rump. Bleeding from the anus implies internal bleeding from blunt force trauma. Proximity to road indicates animal died on impact (On the shoulder of road). Based on temp and rigor-mortis appx time of death early Thursday morning Jan 21st. No footprints or indication of humans or animals around carcass prior to collection.
