Hiking with my daughter at the smaller lake above meadow lake in Gilmore area. From about 15 yards away we both spotted a blonde/ cinnamon colored bear, that appeared to be sleeping under a tree. We both observed a large head and large black paw pads with long claws. The bear did not seem disturbed by us. We left the area
