Specimen collected along with western pearshell empty shells (did not realize were separate species when collected). It seemed western pearlshell were more prevalent in the area, but not certain. Exposed gravel bars along the Bear River at low water prior to irrigation delivery. Adjacent lands are managed as Georgetown Summit Wildlife Management Area (Idaho Fish and Game).
