Individual(s) Observed (seen)
Brief sighting of mustelid, which was very dark in color with light blonde/yellow patches along torso and rump. Animal had very long hair and was moving uphill away from me. The animal's gait was undulating but low to the ground. Animal's body was more upright than that of a badger, and it generally struck me as being around the size of a coyote or large turkey (for reference). I have never observed a wolverine in the wild but have observed many badgers. Again, the sighting was brief and I was unable to catch up to the animal for another look.
Decimal Degrees: 45.0,-116.2
Mature lodgepole and ponderosa pine above logging road, with moderate understory. Older clearcut nearby.

Binoculars; and used Peterson's Field Guides, Google search images, and observation of mounted wolverine in IDFG office to help confirm observation. I also compared location of sighting to GPS collar location of known male using IDFG data.
