Species Account:
A few years ago I saw an article that Fish and Game was seeking evidence of mule deer during the hunting season that still had velvet on the antlers and had deformed antlers. I saw a mule deer buck on multiple occassions east of Malad that had three total points. He was a tall spike with one point sticking directly forward out of one point. The third point was a couple inches long. His antlers were still fully covered with velvet. He was in a group of 10-15 deer. There were several does and a couple other larger bucks. I have pictures of this animal, but they are not on this computer. If you would like the photos I can send via e-mail.
