"Observed clear wolverine tracks crossing an open slope. The tracks were in approximately one inch of new snow on top of a hard crust. Individual track detail and gait pattern were clear. Gait pattern was a 1:2:1 lope." Photographs taken of the tracks.
Decimal Degrees: 44.5,-111.5
The tracks were detected at an elevation of 8600 feet. Terrain was steep and habitat was an ecotone of mixed conifer and subalpine meadow.
