Species Account:
I received a call from a Holly Higgins, (who is a wildlife technician with the Forest Service working in Oregon running bait stations for wolverines), she reported to me that her parents who live out in the Enoch Valley area saw a Wolverine in their driveway,(I guess Holly had quizzed her parents pretty well and she was convinced it was a wolverine, she gave me her parents number, so I called and talked with Kathy (her mother), she was convinced it was a wolverine, although she said her husband had the binoculars and got the closer look, he apparently knew it was a wolverine immediately because he worked in the Teton River country in the past and had seen them before…her husband was apparently unavailable, but she described the correct size and the wolverine lope… They live off the Henry Cutoff road, east of the intersection with Enoch Valley Road , north of Reese Canyon, but before you get on the Forest, (along that stretch of Henry's Cutoff road that runs North/South) apparently some of their property borders the Forest…….
