Species Account:
Saw while hiking in the Lost River Range. Initially saw it approximately 100-125 yards away, slightly lower in elevation and it ran up a snow bank, (away from me, diagonally up the mountain). I watched it travel approximately 400 yards until I lost sight of it (Binoculars were used). I waited approximately 5 minutes and gradually tracked along the snow bank to see if I could get another sighting but it moved to bare rocky areas and did not see it again.
Dark brown with light markings. Saw mostly from the side and its back as it climbed. entire encounter ~ 1min
