Species Account:
Note: Rain for about 20 minutes, no real activity during that time. The perched PEFA did leave during the rain, but not sure where it went. Rained hard again within 10 minutes of my leaving. PEFA with full crop came in from north, landed on a snag and wailed frequently. After 1.5 hours, flew from snag straight down to nest, and a PEFA left within a minute. 20 minutes later, a PEFA landed at the nest again, and a PEFA left within 20 seconds. Lots of perching on snags nearby, lots of wailing from the nest. Both adults out of the nest, but not sure for how long.
