Species Account:
Note: Adult stood near 2 or 3 white little chicks. She (think she was the female) seemed to be preening, snoozing and relaxed. One chick moved; the others appeared to be sleeping. Babies are not very old. Second adult sat in tree above nest. He (I think he was the male) moved around in the tree somewhat but did not leave it. The 3 unknown represents the nestlings.
Other birds (Great Blue Herons and Ospreys) are nesting in the area. Peregrines did not seem to be bothered by presence of other birds. Saw several vultures but no eagles.Compared to the same nest observed 3 years earlier, these nestlings are very young. By this time (3 years ago), babies were nearly fledglings. These babies have a long way to go before they are fledglings.
