Additional population comments: During rare plant surveys from 1993-1999 at Garden Creek Ranch, Craig Mt., ID, 6 subpopulations of Ribes wolfii were identified (Hill and Gray 1999). Originally, compasses, altimeters and topographic maps were used to map the locations; individual locational points were referred to as ‘GIS #s’. Subpopulations incorporated either an individual GIS# or a group of GIS#s in close proximity, usually on the same general aspect. In early 2019, using the locations on topo maps and a program called ‘Earth Point Topo Map’, the original locations were converted to digital files on Google Earth. Both the paper topographic maps and the Google Earth digital map of all 6 Ribes wolfii subpopulations identified during the 1993-1999 Garden Creek Ranch surveys are attached to this report.
