Individual(s) Observed (seen)
I was on a path sitting quietly and the muskrat appeared from the brush on the side of the bank. It swam slowly toward the current and stopped just before a mother duck and her ducklings. It was a dark brown color with a lighter brown patch at the neck. It appeared to be around the size of a ferret.
