Individual(s) Observed (seen)
Two wolverines running on steep talus slope south of Trailer Lake in Sawtooth Range, near Grandjean. They appeared to be hunting under rocks and chasing something, suspect small mammal (pika?). The rock fall caused by the two was what initially caught my attention. They ran around the area for about 15 min before disappearing into some large cracks below the ridge. I wasn't able to get a clear photo that included both animals at once but for what it's worth, there wasn't a discernable difference in size or color between the two. I also reported this information to Robin Garwood at Sawtooth NRA, USFS.
