I observed a pair of adult Sandhill Cranes and 2 colts (chicks) foraging in a grassy meadow; the adults were feeding the chicks. All 4 cranes were reddish brown; the adults had red crowns and long gray legs. The 2 chicks were no taller than the adult cranes' legs. Chicks are close to the adult crane on the right of the photo attached to this report.
