Species Account:
I was just googling false indigo bush and was surprised to see that IDFG doesn't show that this species even exists here. It is very common along the Greenbelt/River Trail in Eagle, and also near the boat dock at the Cache Creek Ranch in Hells Canyon National Recreation Area (on the Oregon side of the Snake River) where I worked during the 1990s and have volunteered since 2014. If I can't find photos in my files, I will see if I can get some this year. This plant is common in the riparian forest along Eagle's greenbelt/river trails, at least from Eagle Road west to Garden City.
