Species Account:
I was driving on USFS Rd 250 in the Nez Perce / Clearwater National Forest near Hodoo Pass. As I rounded a right hand corner I saw a animal I believe was a wolverine. It saw me and turned and ran away from me. I was at approx. 50 yards away and I was closing on it as it ran on the road and the wolverine jumped off the right hand side of the road and fled into the roadside brush. The wolverine was approx. 40 lbs and was of dark brown color.
