Species Account:
The animal observed was crossing a large rockslide area in Wildhorse Canyon. When I first saw it, it paused and looked at me for a few seconds then ran out of sight. I immediately knew it was a wolverine so I took as many pictures as I could. It appeared to be about average size and there was no indication of which sex it was. The color was dark brown, almost black with a tan swath on each side, on its back and tail.
