Observed Individual(s) in Hand or Close Range
On April 19 at approximately 0800 hours, two friends and I were turkey hunting in the mountains north - northwest of Centerville off FR 382A in the Boise National Forest. We had a Tom come in to approximately 50 yards when it spooked and flew into a tree. At the same time, approximately 30 yards in front of us, between us and the turkey, a large wolverine walked between us. We had visual of the Wolverine for only about 10 seconds but it was obvious what it was. It wasn't doing anything other than walking casually through the timber. The wolverine looked in our direction but made no noises and did not approach us. It didn't run from us either.
