Species Account:
I was with my kayak group and a volleyball team when a group of birds (unidentified) making noise caught my attention. I saw the [hawk] come away from them, hover over the lake, snach a fish and fly back the way it came. It was huge! I've never seen a bird in the wild like it. Someone said it must've been an osprey for its fishing abilities but it wasn't solid white. It had black or dark grey spots on its chest and dark top wings like a bald eagle. It was only 100 feet or so from us.
