Individual(s) Observed (seen)
I live in a subdivision off Beacon Light between Linder and Pine in Eagle, ID. There is a canal that runs past my house. I was trapping for gophers when I spotted it jumping in the water. I took a few pictures and looked it up to find out it was a muskrat.

There are cattails along the east side of the canal with wild rose bushes above it. There are plants that appeared to be pushed down by the muskrat. I have heard it before, but this is the first time I have seen it.
