It was reported this afternnoon 4/6/17 on 105.9 that a Grizzly Bear was walking down Eagle Rd and Floating Feather in Eagle, Idaho. Of course I got in my car and drove over there to try to see it and it was gone. I decided to drive up Rush Ct and then W Meadow Ridge Lane. All of a sudden I saw the very large bear looking animal, so I called 911 to report it. They put me on hold and It all happened so fast that I didn't get a picture of it until it was quite a ways away. The only thing was that I thought maybe it had a tail and I didn't think that bears had a tail. It was large like a bear and had very long hair like a bear and seemed to be a bit matted. I didn't see the face as it was walking off to my right. I sent this picture to my local police and the officer said he didn't see the tail and thought it looked like a bear. He said they'd go back out and look for it some more. If we have a possible bear walking around town, why isn't it on the news? I even sent the picture to KTVB and haven't heard a word from them. The officer said that lots of people reported seeing it on Eagle Rd and I'm wondering if anyone else got a better picture of it. I will attach the picture.
