Species Account:
I was archery hunting with my son for elk in between Spencer and Dubois up by Dry Creek. We were setting up to make some elk calls after sitting there quiet for about a half hour when I observed something coming through a bunch of fallen log deadfall and it was moving pretty fast. It came through and as soon as it saw me it stopped and hissed and took off pretty fast in the other direction. I observed it and heard it and my son just heard it. I would describe it as being white and a brownish black color but a little more white on it than what your picture on this website has. My guess is it was somewhere around 3- 1/2 feet long and 1-1/2 feet tall to the top of its back when it was on all 4's
