Individual(s) Observed (seen)
My husband and I were eating lunch on a boulder overlooking the lake. I looked to our right and saw the wolverine loping toward us. When I pointed for my husband to see the wolverine saw the movement and stopped. It looked at us for a second or two and then made a 90 degree turn and loped straight up the snowy slope. When it got to a small cliff face it stopped and looked at us again for a second before disappearing. I'm bad at guesstimating distance, but it was probably about 3/4 of an inch high in my line of sight. If that makes sense. Looked mostly brown. Couldn't see any distinct color markings, but it looked healthy and in good condition.
