Observer took several photos of tracks in snow. High quality snow tracking conditions. Photos strongly indicate wolverine based on size (~4-5 inches in length), imprint of metapodial pad on front track, and splayed toes with claw prints. Tracks followed meandering path, heading uphill. Observation is about 5 miles south of known wolverine maternal den in upper Carmen Creek drainage.

Subalpine conifer forest community with whitebark pine component; within 1/2 mile of alpine treeline. Steep topography, south-southwest aspect, 8,264 ft. elevation.
