Species Account:
I was hunting on Scorpion Mountain on the Muldoon Creek side. I saw a wolverine 6 times on 10-23-14, possibly 6 individuals, for sure 4 different individuals. One sighting was a young wolverine with an adult, chasing and biting the adult's tail. I've seen tracks up there the last few years, usually near the top of the Garfield Creek drainage, but this is my first time seeing the animals. The closest sighting was the young one with the adult, about 50 yards. The others were a bit further, 80-150 yards, one at about 300 yards. Only one saw me, the one at 300 yards. It turned and ran. All of them were moving quickly, heading off somewhere, not hanging around, so it was difficult to get pictures. I'll include the only halfway decent one I got.
