Species Account:
Lots of ducks/shorebirds out of binocular view on the north end of the reservoir. Many birds unidentified.
There was a pair of loons in the water off the boat launch by the campground. I identified them as Pacific Loons at the time based on the lighter bill and structure (than Common) and strong line dividing throat and back of neck/head, but I did not realize they were out of place because I do not regularly bird in Idaho. I did not take photos but saw them clearly. Apologies.
