Two large birds seen close together in leisurely flight fairly high but not at long range showing distinctive long legged and long necked flight profile. GBH's stretch out occasionally but not in this manner. Furthermore this species appears to be increasing in the northern part of Idaho and this sighting was not surprising to me. (Most probably nesting somewhere in Idaho County.)
Sandhill Crane Grus canadensis
