My wife and I was in bed sometime before 5am and I heard a thump thump sound. And I thought what was that so I layed there and listened. My wife got up and looked out the window across our property towards hwy 95 and didnt see any cars stopped or anything so we went back to sleep. At about 7:30 she called me on her way to town and told me their was a dead deer at the edge of the road next to our alfalfa field so I rode the 4 wheeler down to look. And I saw it was fresh and not two badly damaged so I salvaged what was useable.
