Looked a Mule Deer was hit by a car around 4:30am today at highway 44 near the south side of road. They seem to be getting hit right near the intersection of Highway 44 and West State st. see map!

Approximately 4:30am lady in blue car was standing near car looking at deer in borrow pit. I beleive she was the one who had hit the deer. The was also a small pickup truck parked behind her vehicle. I was driving east heading into Boise for work. This is a bad area for deer crossing road. Can something be done to warn drivers to slow down in the early morning hours. Or, put up higher fencing to keep deer from crossing highway 44? They seem to hit a deer every few days in this corridor..
