Species Account:
I was turkey hunting with my dad and two brothers. We came up over a hill and saw a lighter brown colored bear down across the creek about 40 yards, and he was big. based on black bears I have seen I would estimate this one to be about 400 lbs
when he saw us he turned and ran off and that's when we could see a very pronounced hump on his upper back
We were out off hwy 71 west of Cambridge
letter that year in the fall I was deer hunting out there and came across a guy that was grouse hunting down in a different ravine and he said "Be careful going down in there you aren't going to believe me but I saw a Grizzly down there"
