Species Account:
I have a video of the group of owls calling, but am unable to attach the video type below. Reach out to me if you’d like the video of the calls. The location is about 10-15 miles east of warm lake. The owls were seen in an area with a lot of snags, and are potentially nesting in the location marked. There was a group of them (adults with fledged young) that began alarm calling as we got out of the truck to take some photos. All 4 or maybe 5 of them were screeching at us and flying tree to tree along side the road. I have driven back through the area for work multiple times since the first sighting and haven’t seen them since 6/27.
