Species Account:
Note: We think it is the female on the nest in the eyrie. We think she is incubating eggs by her movements in the eyrie. She stood up and sort of gingerly moved around shifting her weight from on foot to the other. WE found the male bird in the old dead tree where we have seen him before. He tended to fly around some but remained in the vicinity of the dead tree.Other birds are flying around. Most of the geese are gone from their nests on the cliff. The blue herons and the ospreys are still active around their nests. A Common Merganser is also actively occupying one of the cavities in the cliff.
