Abstract:

This report discusses results of survey and investigative work done on the endemic Bruneau Dunes tiger beetle (Cicendela arenicola) at Bruneau Dunes State Park from 1993 through 1995. Specifically the report addresses results of three objectives: estimating population sizes for the subpopulation at site C in Bruneau Dunes State Park for 1993, 1994, and 1995; removing weeds to improve habitat for oviposition by female C. arenicola; and identifying additional areas of larval habitat for the beetle within the state park.
