Species Account:
This mule deer buck was tan/brown in color with a white rump and a small rope-like tail with a black tip. This deer had a medium to large body size with 3X3 antlers (still solid to the skull plate). The behavior must have been of a suicidal nature as he lunged in front of a fast moving pickup truck which ultimately caused his death. After the crash, the body was severly damaged and I did not feel comfortable harvesting any of the meat. I did not hit this deer. It was hit by another person and their vehicle.
