Abstract:

This spreadsheet provides some of the collection data for 13 existing samples or specimens (1 to 29 individuals of a species per sampled site) from Idaho of freshwater mussel species. Most of these individuals were later used to create and test qPCR assays for identifying species in the field. The DNA-sequenced species from Idaho were Margaritifera falcata and the Anodonta californiensis/nuttalliana clade. An unidentified, unsequenced Anodonta species is included in the spreadsheet, as well as 2 unsequenced M. falcata.
