I want to put a mechanical fishing reel so I can fish at night while sleeping and have food in the morn or fish while i set up camp and if not legal is it legal for catching ONLY non-game fish-thx

It is not legal to do this in Idaho. Lines must be attended by the person fishing. There is no exception for nongame fish.
