I hunted Ohio my entire life on a landowner permit do I still need to take a hunter safety course?

Since you have had a hunting license in Ohio you do not have to take a hunter education course.  The rule is, if you were born after Jan. 1, 1975 you must show proof that you have taken hunter education or that you have held a valid hunting license in another state.
