Sportsmen’s access sites on upper Salmon River, North Fork boat ramp now open

Construction work to improve several Fish and Game Sportsmen’s Access sites along the upper Salmon River and improvements to the North Fork boat ramp has been completed. All temporary closures have been lifted.

Three elk shot out of season and left to waste near Kepps Crossing

Salmon Region irrigators asked to contact Fish and Game before turning water off

With the irrigation season winding down and efforts to keep fish out of ditches, local irrigators who divert water from area rivers and streams are asked to call Idaho Fish and Game’s Fish Screen Program at 756-6022 several days before shutting off their water for the season.

Portion of Cecil D. Andrus WMA will be closed Oct. 22-24 for aerial herbicide application
