Hunters who applied for moose, mountain goat, and bighorn sheep hunts will know soon whether they were picked in the draw. By June 10, applicants for trophy animal hunts will receive a tag if they were chosen in the draw or a refund if they were unsuccessful. The application process for moose, goat, and sheep differs from other controlled hunts in that applicants must pay the tag fee when they apply. The computerized drawing is held in late May. The drawing for deer, elk, antelope and black bear controlled hunts will take place in June. Only successful applicants in this drawing will be notified by July 10.
