Idaho Fish and Game

Trophy Big Game Animals Measured

Hunters with trophy big game animals they want measured and scored on the Boone and Crockett or Pope and Young system are invited to bring their trophies to the Idaho Fish and Game Office at 1345 Barton Road, Pocatello on March 7. Scoring will take place on March 8, and all trophies must be picked up by March 9. All measurements are done by trained scorers. Hunters can then send their trophies scores along with the required paper work to either organization for entry into the official records. Southeast Idaho hunters have brought in world record class deer, elk, moose, mountain goats, bighorn sheep and mountain lions for measuring. Trophies can be scored for modern rifle, muzzle loader and archery scores.
